IELTS Test Module and Associated Training
IELTS has two different kinds of tests, the General Training module and the Academic module. Students who are willing to go abroad for further studies must give an academic module exam whereas if you want to migrate to other countries or visit for non-study purposes you need to give general training IELTS module. We provide training to cover both modules for individuals wishing to apply abroad for different purposes.
IELTS Test Format and Time Duration
The IELTS test is categorized into four sub-sections: speaking, reading, writing, and listening. The student must take tests for all four sections to complete their IELTS exam. This is applicable to both academic modules and general training modules.
The total duration of the IELTS exam is around 2 hours and 45 minutes. The total time is divided into various sections. The listening section has 40 questions and the recording is played for 30 minutes. 10 minutes are provided to transfer the answer from the rough paper to the actual answer sheet. The reading section is about 60 minutes where you are given 3 passages to answer 40 questions. In the writing section, you will need to write two essays within 60 minutes time duration.
The main problem with the IELTS exam is the time duration. We should be well prepared to answer questions within the specified time period. Good English combined with good skills and techniques will help secure a good mark on the test. There are certain skills that students can learn to secure better marks in all the exam versions.
Besides, we are also running classes for individuals who have an interest in TOEFL preparation over IELTS Language Preparation.
