CCNA stands for Cisco Certified Network Associate, which is a certification program offered by Cisco Systems, a leading provider of networking solutions. The CCNA certification is an entry-level certification that validates the skills and knowledge required to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-sized routed and switched networks.
The CCNA certification covers a wide range of networking topics, including network fundamentals, LAN switching technologies, IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, routing technologies, WAN technologies, infrastructure services, security, and wireless networking. The program is designed to provide candidates with a solid foundation in networking concepts and technologies, as well as hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco networking devices.
To obtain the CCNA certification, candidates must pass a single exam (CCNA 200-301) that covers all the topics mentioned above. The exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions and must be completed within 120 minutes. The passing score for the exam is 825 out of 1000.
